First Criss Cross Card
I have seen these cards all over the internet and wanted to give it a try. I had made one last month at a CTMH class but have never made one from the start on my own. They are really quite easy. From start to finish it only took a hour to make and I like how it turned out. I made it for my mother-in-law for Mothers Day and also I wanted to make one with my SU class in April. But do think it could be used for a male card also??? I find it hard to come up with ideas for guy cards. I’m going to make a card this weekend for a friend to give to her hubby for his b-day and I am drawing a blank. Oh well I’ll work it out.
Supplies I used:
Bordering Blue, Blue Bayou Ink
Wild Asparagus Pattern Paper, Bordering Blue, Barely Banana Cardstock
Seeing Spots, All Year Cheer II sets
Scallop, Round tab, 1 1/4, 1 3/8, Circle Punches
Thanks for Visiting!! Have a great Weekend!!!

I'm so ready for warm weather!!!
This is one of the cards I used in my last card class. I love orange and pink together. They look so bright and cheery together. Reminds me that spring should be here soon. The high today here might reach 45. The forecast for tomorrow morning is 28!!! On Easter morning!!! So my girls will have to wear a coat over there outfits. Last weekend my hubby told me Easter was this weekend. I thought I had until next weekend to get my girls baskets ready. NOT!! So Jerry and I are going to go out today and brave the crowds to get them a basket. I know they are 15 and 13 but I will probably give them a basket when they are married with kids. I even make one for my hubby. Their basket will not be that big this year cause we just got them both new cell phones and upgraded to unlimited family texting (we were tired of fussing over the bill every month) so it will have candy and makeup in it. I know I loved getting baskets when I was young so I plan to make my girls feel special too!! Anyways back to the card. I used the 5-petal punch and cut it apart to make the leaves. I had seen several crafters cut the flower apart on SC and on blogs so I thought I would give it a try. I like the how it turned out and will use it again.
Supplies I used:
So Many Scallops, Flannel Background Stamps
Pixie Pink, Wild Wasabi Ink
Only Orange, Passion Pink, Wild Wasabi Card Stock
5-Petal Punch, Scallop Punch
I worked on yesterday on Eater pails for my Sunday School class. I had picked up the pails at Wal-mart a few weeks ago and picked up the candy last night. The pails where only a dollar and I only have four preschooler so what a deal!! I have one boy and three girls (poor guy) so of course I got all the girls pink. I found peek bunny bubbles at the dollar store this week aren’t they adorable!!! They were in a package of three for a dollar. I got them a Reese bunny because don’t all baskets need to have a chocolate bunny in them? The cards measure 3 x 3 ¾.
Supplies I used:
A Good Egg set
Close to Cocoa Ink
Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana, Certain Celery, Pale Plum Card Stock
Marvy Scallop Punches, Su Ribbon
Thanks for Visiting!! Have a great Weekend!!!

8x8 For Display Board
Here are the 8x8 pages I was able to complete for my display board. On the baby page I total cased a card by inkydigits on splitcoast. Here is the link http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/839481 . As soon as I saw this card I fell in love. It is so adorable and creative. So when I started looking at pictures for my board I thought I would try to make it into a scrap page and I like how it turned out. My journaling was done on my computer the printed on SU whisper white or very vanilla. I glittered the butterflies on the green page but you my not be able to tell. I used the boho punch on the page of both my girls but I am still having trouble making the punch and the stamped flowers line up. This is a quick post cause I still have a lot of work to do to get ready for my Open House tomorrow. I’m very excited and nervous at the same time.
Stamps I Used:

I’m going to fix that on my next order.

Judy’s Album
My mother in law’s birthday is this week and we had a dinner at our home last night for her. Last weekend my hubby and I were shopping and I told him to pick a 12 x 12 album for her so I could make her a scrapbook for MOTHER’S DAY but he said hey we are having her birthday next weekend so why not give it to her then. ???? I thought are you nuts five days to go though pictures and try to scrap them. He really doesn’t understand the whole process of scrap booking!! But the push over I am I agreed. Well this week ended up being kind of busy so after looking through pictures and scanning older ones to develop at the store I only ended up getting three pages done for her dinner. I was kind of disappointed that I did not get more done but then when Judy (my mother-in-law) and I got to talking and she has pictures that she wants scrapped so it worked out. This has now turned into a Birthday/ Mother’s Day gift from us and I will be working on it this spring to try an get it done by May. I will post the pages as I get them done. This week I will not be working much on it cause I am having a Open House Thursday and I need to get a display board done and a card project to do that night. I’m going to start working on it some today cause I’m feeling yucky today and do not plan to go anywhere. Well maybe a quick trip to the grocery store in my sweats cause we have not food in this house.

Usually my hubby likes me to spend time with him on the weekends but today Kentucky was on so I got to stamp.

Wildly Orange Card
I love playing with this little set!! I’m so ready for warm weather and this set reminds me it is not to far away. I made this card with both pumpkin and only orange. I didn’t like the card made with pumpkin to much. The orange kind looked like it need a shot of vitamin C. The orange card look brighter and so I decided to post it. I use flannel background on the orange piece at the bottom but I do not think you can see it well in the picture.
Supplies I Used:
Tart and Tangy, Flannel and Sanded Background
Wild Wasabi, Only Orange, Soft Sky, Whisper White card stock
Only Orange, Close to Cocoa Ink
