Simple Flower Card

I love punches or thin die cuts that have coordinating stamp sets. They can make card crafting so effortless. Then add to that a great sketch that helps the creative process like Freshly Made Sketches weekly sketches and I am a happy girl. I used Stampin Up! set petal potpourri and coordinating punch. I also used SU Flourish thinlits and the sentiment is from Michael's recollections set. Cardstock is Stampin Up!

Lemony Goodness

This is the first time I have tried my hand at Case this Sketch! I'm so glad I did because this sketch got my creative juices flowing today. I am in love with this pattern paper pad from Michael's, Mint To Be by Craft Smart. I purchased several to make three of the dry erase calendar pictured. I purchase the background matte from Hobby Lobby right before the quarantine and I will have to wait until they reopen to pick up two more mattes to make the other calendars. I have so much of the pattern paper left and as soon as I checked out the card sketch I knew I had to use the lemon paper to make a card. I love lemons :) I used pink and white cardstock from Stampin Up! and cut the banner sentiment with my Maker. The flowers are from a daisy punch I have had for years. The little fence is a die cut from Darice. The white calendar frame is Studio Décor from Michael's. I have a large empty wall in my dining room and I love all things planner so I came up with the idea to make three large dry erase boards. I wanted to make it easier for my husband and I keep up with three months of appointments, vacations, etc. cause as we get older we are getting so forgetful. ;) The cover opening had a very thin plastic so I replaced it with thicker plexiglass from Lowe's. I had to replace it because the dry erase maker would not come off the original plastic that came with the frame. If you watch the frames will go on sale buy 1 get 2 free and that is the best time to grab them.
