I love this little set in the upcoming occasions mini!!! It is so cute and versatile. And CHEAP!! Only $12.95. If I get time tomorrow I plan to make some cards with the orange. I also plan to finish a paper bag book since I got the by ones and by two set. I have been working on a baby boy book and when I saw that set I knew I wanted to use it on the last page in the book . If it works out I will probably post it early next week. By the way the reason I have got to play so much today is we are out of school for snow again!!

Always Card
I got a SU order full of goodies Monday. I saved up for a while for Sale-a-bration time. It is my biggest order of the year so I can get all the SAB items plus extra sets for my sister. Also I like to get extra of the scrappin‘ kits, this year rub-ons, to have to use. This is one of my new sets and I am in love with it. When I first saw it in the new catty I did not really like it. I’m usually not one for birds. But I checked out all the valentine cards on SCS that used the heart from this set and really liked them. Then when cards with the bird started poppin up I knew this set had to be moved to my must have list. I used SC147 on this card. I like to print off the sketch challenges, put them in pages protectors so I can look though them when I need inspiration. As soon as I saw this sketch I knew it was perfect for this bird. I used the new three flower punch. The bottom flower is wild wasabi, the next flower is so saffron, and the last flower is purely pomegranate.
Supplies I used:
Always Set
Vanilla, Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron Cardstock
Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate Ink
Purely Pomegranate ribbon, Fresh Favorites I buttons, Boho Flower Punch

Looks like I'm ready for SPRING
This is the first card I made with my new goodies!! I saw the color challenge on SC yesterday and had to try it out. Then I checked out the sketch today and decided to combine them. This color challenge is so cheery and springy. I love it and don’t you just love this little guy. He is a lot of fun to work with. I used a Judith stamp I have had for a while that “speckles“. I speckled the three inks on WW and then embossed it with a CB folder. I used all three boho flowers with a white brad.
I wanted to let everyone know that Autumn is doing well right now. The ear nose and throat doc could not see the damage yet for the infection in her ear. He gave her new drops to take that should clear up the infection and then he will check her again in two weeks. She does not hurt anymore but she does not hear as well in that ear as before. The Doctor said she will hear better when it heals. Thanks so much for everyone’s comments and concerns. It was a very scary evening Friday but things seem to be getting back to normal. My oldest daughter, Kayla has been coughing for over a month. She went to see the allergist today and got allergy test done. She has asthma and is very allergic to dust and mold among other things. The doctor has her on new meds and we should see some improvement and relief for her in a few days. What can I say it is the season to be sick. Everyone I know is sick!!! So anyways here is the stuff I used for the card.
Supplies I used:
A Good Egg, Judith stamps
Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence, Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence, Pumpkin Pie Ink
Cuttlebug folder, Pumpkin Pie marker, white brads boho flower punch, celery ribbon

Crazy Evening
Last night my daughter, Autumn called me from a friends home crying. I thought that the girls where fussing, you know how 13 year olds can be. I left the house to go get her and she called be again on the way to ask if I was almost there. I asked what was wrong and she said “my ear is hurting so bad“. She came out to the car crying which is "off" because she is pretty tuff when it come to being sick or hurt. I knew right away that I was calling the doctor this morning to get her an appt. We did not get two blocks from the house that she started saying that her ear had water coming out of it. We where on a side road so I stopped in the middle of the road to look and her ear was pouring blood!! I called my husband at home and told him to get dressed cause we where going to the ER. When we got to the ER a nurse saw her right away and said that her ear had ruptured. They were very busy but got us back in pretty good time. They gave her a shot of antibiotics, oral pain meds and oral antibiotics for home and told us to call a ear nose and throat Doctor Monday. On Monday we will see if it is a rupture that will heal itself or my have to be operated on. Today she is doing much better. What is bothering her most is noise. She can not get any water or anything in the ear so we are getting ear plugs for her. Her daddy is going to clean her hair for her in the sink when she needs if cleaned. Let me tell you that was the scariest thing ever!!! All that blood freaked me out but I stayed calm so she would not get frightened. Hopefully we will find out Monday that it will heal on its own. Hope everyone has a less scary weekend then us!! I’ll post what the doctor say Monday evening. Also I wanted to let everyone know that I have upped the security on my site because I have been getting Comments that are BAD!! As soon as it get cleared up I will set it back to regular. Have a good weekend!! Bye!!

After School Cards
This is another reason I have not gotten to post much lately. I got a call from the after school program and they wanted me to make some Valentine cards with them for their pen pals from another after school program. I have 95 kids total and each child will make two cards. The first class was last Thursday with fourth through sixth grades and the next class will be tomorrow with kindergarten through third graders. I love working with kids and look forward to tomorrow. I did all the stamping since the classes are so large and they are only giving me 30 to 45 minutes to make them. I also stamped the envelopes with matching stamps.
This is the last post this evening. Really!! Thanks for visiting and have a great evening!!!
