Been Awhile!!
I have been MIA lately and for all of you who check my blog regularly for updates thanks so much. Two weeks ago we lost my Aunt Ann. I wrote about her in my last post. She was in ICU and we hoped she would recover but she got an infection in her lungs that she just could not fight. She was my moms younger sister and best friend. I spent my whole life, before I was married, living only a mile away from her and my uncle. We rode to church together, vacationed and spend holidays together. Ann was like a another mom to me and my sister and she was one of the most loving and sweetest ladies you could meet and we will all miss her so much. Please remember my mom and uncle in your prayers. My uncle is doing as well as can be expected but my mom is having a really hard time with it.
I have not felt very crafty lately but wanted to post these cards I made a couple of weeks ago. We made them in my last card class. The first card I try “thumping” for the first time and really like the results. I used Color Challenge (CC203) on Splitcoast.
Stuff I used:
Sets: Upsy Daisy
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Garden Green, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze DP
Ink: Baja Breeze
Marker: Garden Green
Tempting Turquoise Ribbon, Ribbon Slide, CB Folder
On the last two cards I used the Crazy for Cupcakes set and did not write down what I used but all products used where SU. I received my order of some new stuff this past week from SU. I got the "Branching Out" and "Thoughts and Prayer" sets along with other goodies. I hope to make some cards tomorrow with them. I need to make some cards for my next class in two weeks. I also need to make thank you cards for a friend who sent me a flower arrangement and one for my sister-in-law for bringing me a spring wreath for my door. I hope to post some cards before the week is out.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a good night!!!
